New Members

According to our rules, you should give your details to the Membership Secretary and your membership will be ratified at the next club Committee meeting.  In reality, we don’t vet you really – just pay the appropriate subscription below and you’ll become the latest cyclist to be eligible to wear the well-known red, white and blue racing jersey!  Speak to the Procurement Officer and you might find he has just the clothing you are after already in stock.

Change in Membership type

In early April this year (2010) a Meeting was held with club members. This was to propose changes of both the subscription payment date and to drop the Non-Racing type membership. Both of which were agreed upon, so the membership form has now been revised to reflect these changes.

What does this mean for both new and existing members?

The payment date for subscriptions is to now run from the 1st of January to 31st December. On the Application form there is a table which denotes the levee depending on which month you wish to join. This amount will enable your membership up to the end of that year, or in the latter months, up to the end of the following year. This will enable the club as a whole to forecast on finances and expenditure. Thus enabling new equipment, insurances, signs, etc to be purchased.

With Existing Members, there will be a part year payment when your levee is due. This will bring you up to the end of the year. Then on the 1st January full payment can commence.

Full Member
Basically, this entitles you to ride and race (if you so choose to) in the PNE colours.

Associate Membership*  (2nd Claim)     
   *This is commonly used by cyclists who are 1st Claim members of another club and wish to join another. A common type of Membership across all clubs.
